In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer (via Cageside Seats), it was reported that a female commentator could be added to either the RAW or Smackdown announce teams “eventually.” Follow-up rumors on the internet have suggested that it will be Beth Phoenix.

Phoenix has provided commentary for the Mixed Match Challenge and the Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal.

I dont have a problem with a female in the booth but progress is best when its subtle and happens on its own not when its forced at every opportunity and done just for the sake of doing it.

I think the thing that annoys me the most about it is wwe is not a progressive company its just a stunt to them for the attention and the likes so it all rings really hollow .A company that was really bout valuing woman as much as men wouldnt be doing a show where all the bitches gotta stay home
