My weekend project for my future squat rack. Stained the wood last night and drilled the base together today. The stain was unnecessary but I wanted a nice looking platform than just plain playwood. Will cut my stall mats in half and make sure they’re placed right before I screw it down and polyurethane it. Will probably get to that sometime this week. Installed the shop lights above it last weekend. Will hopefully actually buy the rack sometime in the next month.

I also ordered this last night to hang on the wall by it

Get that rack. You can bench and squat with no spotter and it gets you tough lifting on your own with no external motivation. As long as your form is on point and you are hitting depth.
