RR has no psychology, and the announcers made it worse.....talking about how his arm is fucked yet he puts weight on it to get off the mat. Cesaro was booked to wrestle a good match the right ideas where there to attack the arm at all cost, he did well, but the lack of selling the arm by RR pissed me off as an old school guy, I don't mind that RR got the win (even though it was booked lazy) but the lack of selling...damn that's bad

Probably the worst thing that has happened to Roman's development into being THE guy was when they (specifically Vince) decided to groom him for that spot via promos and booking that took Roman out of the equation and gave him a mold to pour himself into. He's a good worker but, as mentioned, he's got holes in his game and he's being taught to ignore them.

“I don’t think they’re gonna play musical stairs!”

That’s not a thing Book

Maybe not that you know of, Corey, but, in my days, we did musical stairs for the US title. Now, can you dig that?

For the US title?

Yup. Best of seven.

Against who?

Th-that's not important right now. We got a match goin' on right here.

And thats how Benoit got his first concussion!

Keaton was thought unable to pull off the role. But he did spectacularly. Fatleck. was also thought unable to pull off the role, and hasn't really silenced the critics. In that regard.

A more Batman moment has yet to be put on film

A lot of credit needs to go to Tim Burton, his direction and vision were spot on for this film. He really made it feel like a comic book had come to life. Then they went to far to the comic book side and we ended up with Batman and Robin. Then they swung the other way and we got a gritty realistic Batman by Nolan. And then Zack Snyder took all the joy and colour out of everything and here we are.

Could you stomach something that smells and tastes exactly like grass, at this point.
He's Rexican, of course he can stand the smell and taste of grass.

Watching both Burton films now can be a tough sit. The dialogue and plots are really clunky but the world he created is so damn good that it just sucks you in and you don't care about the rest. Credit to Danny Elfman's best work too

People are still injecting themselves with synthol.... fucking idiots

Wheatgrass shots going in!

The one thing both Burton and Nolan had in common is that neither ever read a single comic book. Yet Nolan nailed Batman and Burton failed because, even though he didn't care for Batman, he had enough English pride to do a proper adaptation. Batman is nearly unwatchable to me whereas Superman is as grand a superhero film has ever been made (although I like the Burton madhouse of Batman Returns).

Burton didn't even tell a story, he made a collage of comic book junk (that isn't in there) mashed up with some random subversion (like Keaton's casting) he enjoys.

Nolan is his polar opposite. On the day he walked into WB he told them how he would end part 3 and he straight up did exactly that a decade later.

But yeah everyone is better than Snyder.

I caught another student cheating today. She refused it to the grave even thought it was blatant/ obvious. She turned in a lab report with “Dr Lastyearsprof helped us cast the gel” instead of Dr lakersfan45. I had her read it to me out loud and the prof she had in her report doesn’t even work at the school anymore. Still, even after reading it out loud to me she denied it. She started shaking and it freaked me out. I just said I’m going to fail you on this assignment but I won’t report it. She is set to graduate next semester.

I feel like Batman is Burton as Russo in the Attitude Era, yeah it's him but there was still some studio input(Vince) for such a big project. Then it makes a kajillion dollars and the studio says alright do what you want in the sequel so you get unhinged WCW Russo. It's just maximum dialed up to 11 Tim Burton madness. I love it.

what position do you play?

Im one of the plethora of RBs that they have but use them as WR with less sure hands, cause fuck convention. Isnt that why they recruited Brandin Cooks so they stretch the field and throw long? That was the impression I got from the NFL news. Tom Brady is 40 years old and Bill B wants the man to throw deep. The man won you 5 Superbowls Bill cut him some slack.

I remember Brady saying he wanted to play till he was 45 a few years ago. I laughed it off as a joke then but now I think it's a threat.

Pretty sure he'll play till he dies on the field. Hes probably still so grateful that Bill actually picked him in the draft that he'll soldier on and do what ever Bill wants. I like the guy, hes a team player. Taking pay cuts to try and keep players at the Patriots. Never giving up.
