They were shooting to break the WM3 record of 93K, had to move the event because of “security reasons” i.e. bad ticket sales, and moved to a venue that held 10K.

Thats only if you believe Bruce Pritchard, who is related to Tom Pritchard, who was a Heavenly Body which was a jobber tag team. I never trust jobbers.

According to WWE Slaughter was the GOAT Iraqi sympathiser so they wanted a smaller venue for security. Thats very noble of Vince to jeopardize profit to look out for Slaughter. Besides, Mary Tyler Moore was in attendance so clearly they couldve sold 100k if they wanted to
