His most underrated movie is The Prestige. I liked his first two Batmans. Rises is decent, wasn't too fond of Interstellar. Loved Inception.
The Prestige was decent
I tried to walk out of the first Batman but my buddy drove and he wasnt going for it, the second one was alright but nowhere near as good as a lotta people claim that it is and I couldnt watch the third after I heard the villains dorky ass voice when the plane broke up in the beginning
Inception woulda been good if they didnt spend half the movie explaining and then re-explaining and then explaining some more how the dream shit worked
Just let the fuckin shit happen and make us figure out the mystery, dont beat us over the fuckin head with an instruction booklet every single step of the way
Piss me off

Actually I lied. I liked Interstellar up until about the last 20 minutes or so.
It takes a lot and I mean A LOT of suspension of disbelief to enjoy but McConaughey crushed it. Him watching the home movies of his kids growing up was some soul wrenching shit.

Subtle is not in Nolan's vocabulary. He beats you over he head with every bit of symbolism he puts in.
In fairness Bane's original voice was much more gravely but test audiences couldn't understand him so they dubbed it.

this theme still confuses me

"This theme is phenomenal. It's the audio embodiment of X-Pac heat."

When does McConaughey not crush it though?

I think the last McConaughey movie I saw was Mud and that shit was hella dope

Long and short of it:
- Vince only listens to two bands, AC/DC and Kid Rock. Two stories stick out, the "I've discovered a new band..." story, and Vince's propencity to blast AC/DC and Kid Rock full volume on the plane after shows.
- Kid Rock (and Metallica to a lesser extent) allowed WWE to use "American Bad Ass" for the Undertaker
- Uncle Kracker is/was Kid Rock's DJ
- When Uncle Kracker embarked on a solo career, Kid Rock produced his debut album
- Kid Rock went to WWE and called in a favour
- They gave a song to X-Pac/X-Factor, and just added "Yo, you dealin' wid da X-Factor" as well as other "Uhhhh...X-Factor" peppered through it.

Hacksaw Ridge and Hell or High Water both got nominated for best picture...The Struggle never leads you astray

WHAT!!!!!! He killed it in Dazed and Confused and A Time to Kill (underrated movie btw)
I don't really like Time to Kill and fair enough I should've included Dazed and Confused. I have thoroughly enjoyed the McConassiance. I spent 10 years, 10 years!, telling all my friends that this dude was a legit actor who just made bad movies for cash grabs and his time would come.

people always big up inception like it was some new really creative thing but to me it seemed like they just ripped off dark city.

I haven't seen Hell or High Water yet, but a movie with Jeff Bridges and Ben Foster has no chance of being a bad film.

He was just making those rom coms to crush puss. Now he's married and moving his focus to intriguing movie roles.

If it wasn't for Hans Zimmer that movie wouldn't be regarded so high
