For a Dec PPV it's pretty good, the moment Ellsworth run-in I felt the heel turn coming and it did, watching pro wrestling as long as I have run-ins at main event PPV mean three things a)suprise return, b) heel turn, c)screwjob/over-booked finish. Hopefully, Ambrose squash Ellsworth as he getting above his card status, this is remisnece of Eugene in 2004 getting involved in the world title fued. The difference is they didn't turn Eugene heel.

They should of turn him heel and have him reveal Eugene was a charade to get into the WWE and be a associate with HHH instead of feuding with him and getting severely depushed after that.

As for 99 concluded the Higher Power episode and the reveal made the past 6 month Corporation vs Ministry, Undertaker/Mcmahon fued pointless. Story-wise, if that was all a front to get to Austin they did the long game as Austin wasn't even champion when the Higher power was first mentioned.

The only way, they can justify the higher power angle is Undertaker being a plan b when the Rock eventually failed to Austin and when he did Vince put all the resources to Undertaker.

So despite the Russoque swerve of the Higher Power, you look at in it hindsight and the paranoia/craziness of the Vince Mcmahon character it does make some sense.
