Most fans don't know about the background of Rusev,(Myself included) but everyone loves him anyways because he's fucking entertaining and brings it every time.

He also never came from the indies and is 100% WWE made.. Shouldn't the "Neckbeards" be bitching about him?

They wouldn't bitch about a foreigner, as foreigners have been treated badly in the WWE in the past. Also, Rusev is damn good and brings it every time, as you said. He is seen as working his arse off, whilst Reigns is seen as riding a wave. It's a bit of a shame for Reigns really...

Lets be real here, most people don't care about Rusev either way...they see him as just another guy in the midcard. You guys are giving him way more credit than is warranted as far as people given more than a passing fart in his direction.

– Forbes has revealed their list of Hollywood’s highest paid actors, and it’s good to be the Rock. Rock doubled his earnings from 2015 and scored with a $64.5 million year. Rock has been part of many successful projects both in front of the camera, as well as behind the scenes as a producer. Last year’s #1, Robert Downey Jr, dropped to #8 with $33 million; don’t cry for him, I am sure he’s fine. Jennifer Lawrence came in first place for the ladies, scoring $46 million. Melissa McCarthy was the closest to her with $33 million. Here are the top 10 lists for both the men and the women…

Top 10 world’s highest paid male actors 2016
1. Dwayne Johnson – $64.5 million
2. Jackie Chan – $61 million
3. Matt Damon – $55 million
4. Tom Cruise – $53 million
5. Johnny Depp – $48 million
6. Ben Affleck – $43 million
7. Vin Diesel – $35 million
8. Shah Rukh Khan – $33 million
8. Robert Downey Jr – $33 million
10. Akshay Kumar – $31.5 million

Who really gives a fuck whether someone has been busting their ass for five minutes or five years?

It's kind of funny to remember, back at the 2015 Rumble when Roman eliminated Show and Kane the crowd was booing like crazy. Then Rusev got up off the floor and everyone remembered that he hadn't been eliminated yet, and the crowd popped like crazy.

City of Philadelphia turned heel rooting for a commie and cemented the turn by booing the GOAT. They deserve Sam Bradford, the 76ers, and the Phillies. Should also be annexed to Afghanistan.

AJ getting that belt now. No way he beats Big Match Cena clean and not taking the belt.

Nakamura needs to be on the main roster already. That entrance is hotness.

Big Cass mic work needs to be sped up. He talked fine on the Stoney Old Podcast. Maybe he freezes up on the mic live.

Brock needs to lose. WWE booked themselves in the corner now since he's too strong so he can't lose clean to anybody. He just Germans and looks dumb with his penis tattoo. Don't see what the love for him is ( still salty about him breaking the streak too :/ )

Heath Slater Free Agent angle is brilliant. They should throw him in big matches since someone has to lose anyways. Might as well be him to keep the underdog gimmick going. When people were coming out on raw for the belt , after Big Dawg , Slater should've came out. Would've gotten a big Yes chant.

Miz brought the thunder with that promo. Why on earth was that shit not done on the actual show ?

Also my bae, Sasha, needs to stop doing crazy shit. She's too hot to get injured all the time :/

That is all

Would be nice if Vince could stop with the "foreigners are heels" concept. Calling us "Stupid Americans" every week is cheap heat and unoriginal. I'm amazed that it still works with the arena fans though..

I doubt the fans at home are getting worked up over a man that loves his country.

or the year prior when everyone wanted Roman to win the thing and keep Bastista from the main event.

Meh...to the talented goes the spoils

It depends on the nature of the talent. For years the WWE wanted their models of manliness to be the faces of the company, but especially with NXT having risen, more and more fans seem to appreciate passion, technical ability and athleticism as opposed to molded presentation and physical bodywork.

I appreciate bodywork and good characters. I loved the 90's and I also think that Sid was underappreciated, even if he wasn't all that technically. Wrestling has been brilliant since 2015 though, especially when compared to the shit years before it.

It's less relevant to the Rusev discussion, but funny still the same.

Roman was crazy over as a heel from that Survivor Series through the Rumble.

Sid knew his strengths and weaknesses. If he tried to talk like a normal person, he sounded brain dead. But when he just did his psycho ranting, he was believably scary.

It worked with you guys. I had my most successful thread ever using that concept.

He gets reactions every time he's out there, he knows how to grab attention. I'd say he has tons of charisma which could be shown better with a change of gimmick.

His biggest wins are Swagger/BigShow/Henry/Ziggler... That's a fucking problem. Meanwhile Roman Reigns is superman and given everything for years.

No wonder nobody is over. If Rusev can only beat those type of guys after all this time as a champion..
