This has been a perfectly booked start, a storyline that hooks you in to watch the rest of the show.
 
Trips sent out Bray because he used his "that damn good" line.

That opening segment was almost perfect, imo. The only thing that would've made it better was if Dean said "No, you're not. You're not as good as you think you are, you're not me". And then walked out. Dean was really good there, perfect, very serious which seems to be a transition in his character for the better. Bray was very good too. Ziggler gave a passionate promo, but its the one he gives on the RAW/SD fallout show on youtube that he has given for years. I think he gave that literal promo last week on it.

Has it been confirmed who the writing team for Smackdown is? Or for Raw, or if they even have seperate writing teams? Vince obviously still in charge of everything.

The old head writer for nxt is the head writer for smacdown now.
 
I think the opening segment find osld me on Dean Ambrose as a top guy and a guy you can realy build a brand around. He was really good, his style is also believable minus the the chop/slap garbage he puts up. I can't believe I just typed this out.

Still a CLEAR #2 behind the Lord Father of Fitness, CrossFit Jesus, Seth Rollins.
 
Smackdown is unwatchable. It's like they let a five year old alone in the production truck and he is fucking around with the camera angles.

It takes away so much from the action.

Rollins Mic work has gotten better but it's still very B level. If he wasn't so great in the Ring his promos would be distracting

Dean is number 3 behind the big dawg (though he's in the dog house...) and are crossfit savior!
 
Great start to Smackdown. Already more invested in this than Raw last night.
