I have that same opinion on Cena/Punk MITB 2011.

Thought there number one contenders match on Raw before Mania was even better. No screwy finish.

MITB was legit, but had some terrible botches, and was elevated a lot by a hot crowd. Still though, it lived up to the impossible hype.

The Raw match was better though.

Bret/Shawn sucks dick.

The Raw match was much better. It was another where the lack of swerve was the swerve. Everyone expected a run-in or something, but instead we just got a great, great match with a clean finish.

I wouldn't say Bret/Shawn at WM 12 "sucks dick," but it's not a match I go back and re-watch.

How about a wrestler wins a world title match while holding MITB, with the MITB in-hand they can cash in a instant re-match any-time. Being a champ while holding MITB would be a new twist on things as he has the power to instantly re-gain the title.

For example, X loses world title to Y, Y get attacked post-match and X cashes in MITB to regain the world title the same night.

i watched stone cold vs mick at over the edge 98. it was a no dq match and had vince as the ref, paterson as the announcer, and brisco as the time keeper. the heel heat those three were getting was so good and funny. match was awesome too.

Dean Ambrose has become nothing more then a parody. His promos and matches are boring as fuck these days. His moves feel like they have zero impact. That match at E.R was the definition of cringe.(Jericho is half to blame for that)

That said... I have to admit, his match with HHH was fucking great and my second favourite match of the year.

But that was only one match out of many.

The Angle/Brock Ironman Match on SmackDown waa awesome.

The US title should be renamed the Television Title and should be defended weekly on RAW. The Intercontinental title should be main title under the WHC and for god sake bring back the Hardcore title under 24/7 rules so jobbers can stop complaining about being underused and start having backstage fights again.

So if AJ doesn't get in MITB, he feuds with Gallows and Anderson?

Seems too predictable for it to happen. Need something left field for maximum rustle.

I second the Hardcore Title notion. That belt was amazing.

Should just get rid of the US title, unify it with the IC title....that's the one with the wwe lineage....let the us title die with WCW memory.

Introducing more titles have never helped anything.

Now the Bret/Shawn Mania match at 12 sucks dick? You neckbeards love to go to the extreme with shit. lmao

Just have jobbers do this everyweek, occasionally a midcard holds the belt to make it seem legit

I really feel sorry for the people who hype up that match to a friend as "the best ever", and then sit and watch it with them.

30 minutes in...

"It's gonna get good. Just wait."

45 minutes in...

"It's coming. Just wait"

59 minutes and 30 seconds in...

"See! see! There it is. Sharpshooter! You don't know if he's going to give up. It's so exciting! He didn't give up! It's a draw! Or is it? Here comes Gorilla Monsoon! Overtime. Here we go, baby! Super kick! 1, 2, 3! Yeah!!!

Greatest match ever, right Steve? Steve? Where are ya? Steve?..."

Don't need to get rid of it, just make it seem more important than is. The problem is there is no difference between the US and the IC title, they are both generic midcard belts.

Watched foley/Shane on the network. Shane seemed legit annoyed that mick kept asking if he had issues with Trips.

Quit being a mark, mick
