I noticed the side plates looked different but I figured it was just the angle or low quality of the picture
Guess not

Yea they took the story down cause they were wrong
Basically George South showed Terry Funk that pic I posted from the night Funk won the tourney after Johnny Valentines plane crash and asked what that belt was because it wasnt the US belt
Funk said it was a Sandy Scott owned belt that they only used that night so they thought it was the old Atlantic Coast tag belts because Scott was the last one to hold those belts before they switched to the Mid Atlantic belts but in the pic they posted of the tag belts the side plates were round instead of square like Funks belt

It's kind if funny hearing people get all pissed off with whom should be in the HOF just to find something to complain about.
