I used to like Faber, but the guy is so far past his prime, a title fight at this point is laughable. He's just been obnoxious for the last few months

He's got a decent move set, I don't know who decided that the monster heel should use a reverse STO as a finisher. The only time it looked cool was off the top rope against Puma

Met Urijah Faber at some fights up in Placerville after my boy dominated one of his students
That was a memorable day
They had cage fights and dirt track racing at the fairgrounds on the same night so during the day you had all the hill people on one side of the parking lot tailgating for the races and standing around looking alarmed at the tattooed, pierced up minority filled cage fighting crowd that was invading their quiet little community
And then when the races started us fight fans got to sit there in the closed in auditorium watching the fights and choking on all the racing exhaust fumes that were making their way into the building

While he's not one of my favourites, he's maybe the one I respect the most. After going what he went through, he didn't make a lot of noise, just hard work, and he came back and won the title from one of the very best fighters out there. Real impressive and inspirational stuff.

Yup, I'm a big Cruz mark back from WEC
