The biggest neck beard on this site just called you out for making an insanely neck beard statement, LMFAO
I outlined and articulated my reasonings pretty clearly below, mind you. If you want to play identity politic though, feel free to do so.
'Selective obliviousness'? What in the blue hell are you talking about? There are only like three guys in the company who don't get 50/50 booking, Brock/Cena/Reigns. Brock is the best booked wrestler in the entire company.
Exactly my point. Everyone, old and new, is mired in this swamp of 50/50 booking. But yet, it is sensible for some to get it but when it is other it is not. Usually, it falls to either homegrown or ex indie, respectively. If you want to build creds and get people over, continuity is needed but yet here we are. Somehow with some wrestlers it is totally unacceptable that they got treated like this but others like AJ Styles it is "a fact of life". That's not exactly consistent booking.
A: Zack Ryder is a jobber. I figure his win at WM was a long-term service award. Not even comparable to AJ Styles.
B: 50/50 booking sucks, but what can you do? A win doesn't mean any more than a loss, so I don't know why everyone wants to accentuate the losses so much. Now of course, there is the Bray Wyatt limit, where you lose so much, you can't be taken seriously anymore, but that's not 50/50 booking, that's just being a loser.
C: AJ losing to Jericho at WM isn't a big deal. It was a tightly contested feud, which was just supposed to put some good wrestling on display, and get AJ familiar with the WWE fans. The wins and losses are already forgotten about. It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Did beating Jericho at WM do a damn thing for Fandango? If you're an AJ fan, be happy that he's been booked in higher card since his debut. The WWE is treating him rather well, I'd say.
Now that all the niceties are out of the way, I'll veer down more familiar territory for me. Nakamura....that guy SUCKS. I watched a few matches last night, along with some highlights, and was astonished that this sloppy fuck has so much hype behind him. What is the big deal with this guy? Other than that one slick arm bar he has, his move set is awful. He looks drunk in the ring. His knees and kicks, which I suppose are his bread and butter, look fucking terrible. Half of them don't look like they have any impact at all.
On the main roster, that guy will be a bigger bust than Sin Cara.
Well, not gonna argue about Nakamura there. He got over in Japan because of his antics but not really sure in here. Unless he can put on a show to convince people. Maybe playing up his ex-MMA background like Graves did in Takeover Dallas or something. He's a stiff worker though, so even if his moves doesn't look good, it is painful at least.
A: well, it is not really long term service when you got over once and then got jobbed for a few years. And he lost his title the night after too, so what was the point again? Put pre-determinded accolade on his resume?
B: he lost in WrestleMania in front of nearly 100K people. If that's not a big loss to you, then I don't know what it is. Even if it is pre determined result for the sake of building new stars and attraction, shouldn't the logic dictate that he should be going over Jericho, whose purpose is to get AJ over? WrestleMania moments are also things that got touted a lot too, so again, are the bookers are being consistent here, having him won two bouts in two smaller PPV only for him to lost in the grandest stage of them all?
C: Fandango was briefly over, mind you. Before WWE running his schtick to the ground. Again, another example of the E not knowing what to do with their talents. And while I acknowledged that AJ is at a better place now, things can always get better and booking can always be more logical. So he and his fans should be content with his current booking, but yet a few pages ago someone was talking about how wrestlers should be active to get themselves over. And he CAN get over with the right booking, and this booking is anything but right.
Shut up
