In reality NXT stars would work better starting on RAW and getting working time on the main roster but hoping over to RAW and just getting lost in the shuffle
But if they debut on SD that means they don't consider them that important to begin with (see Breeze). Add Dunn conspiracy theory to bury every NXT star, and I don't see a bright future for them.

AJ beat Jericho with a finisher that he kicked out of the night prior

Wrestling psychology would dictate that Jericho was more susceptible to the pin because he just took a beating from three men and most of their signature moves.
Big match situation kickout. I accept this scenario every time

did anyone else in this business ever mention Dunn or just something corny said a decade ago?

I've never seen such a chore of boos like last night against Reigns. He also doesn't have Cena's speaking ability (or charisma) to play off that type of crowd.

I really hope they do something about this cause I really like Reigns and I honestly believe he can be the one true megastar since John.

Reigns played it great last night, especially when Sami Zyan came out and Reigns laughed in his face. They shouldn't make any efforts to make people cheer going forward, just have him come out, kick ass, and win. A tweener champ who doesn't give a shit is the best direction for him. Smarks will paid to see him regardless.

Giving them TV time on Smackdown is better that jobbing them out on RAW. Not everyone on NXT can be a premier talent at the same time. Let them sharpen there skills on Smackdown were you can edit things and improve before putting them up in a live crowd. And fuck Dunn, people only blame him because of dirtsheets.

so i'm bored at work and decided to see if WWE had an account with my rental company. lo and behold they do. And they've only done about $190,985.64 in business with us and owe us $90,110.67

So then I got curious to see if TNA had an account. Yep. Have done $701,811.99 in business with us. Owe us $14,237.73.

im bored and thought id share

In general I really, really wish there were more emphasis on rasslin' as a sport, which would help with all the kickout logic.

Biggest payday of your life, a hundred thousand screaming fans, of course you're going to have more adrenaline running through your veins at Wrestlemania. And just as a literal actual fact. Not to mention that it makes sense that fighters have to - year round - decide how deep they're willing to dig.

For example, Shane kicking out of ... well, any of Taker's big moves. Logic might normally state a non-fighter wouldn't be able to take these moves as well than other fighters (and better than some). However, since Shane doesn't have to fight the next month or even week or day, he can keep going until he literally can't go anymore. Someone who is on the regular roster ... is pushing yourself past the limit for this one night really going to be worth shortening your career overall ? Do I not tap to this submission and hope I can pull out a win that's going to change my career, or what if I don't tap and I break a bone and I'm done ... etc, etc, etc.

It's built right in. Everyone would understand. But it's never referenced.

The AJ Styles Clash at Wrestlemania was the only false finish that I actually bought in to in the whole show so I for one was glad Jericho kicked out.
I am not sure we need a brand split again but I wouldn't mind seeing a deliberate attempt to further differentiate the brands by having Smackdown be the focus of a new and improved tag division.
I miss a quality tag division and I am half convinced that it could be a good way to make them find some future singles stars in the long run.

Now that all the niceties are out of the way, I'll veer down more familiar territory for me. Nakamura....that guy SUCKS. I watched a few matches last night, along with some highlights, and was astonished that this sloppy fuck has so much hype behind him. What is the big deal with this guy? Other than that one slick arm bar he has, his move set is awful. He looks drunk in the ring. His knees and kicks, which I suppose are his bread and butter, look fucking terrible. Half of them don't look like they have any impact at all.

On the main roster, that guy will be a bigger bust than Sin Cara.

I was never on board with the "Nakamura is the greatest wrestler ever,"...I didn't even think he was the best guy in NJPW...but holy shiz on stick...you must be f'in retarded!

I haven't finished NXT Takeover Dallas yet but the tag match was FANTASTIC. I watched the Tag match alone at home before driving to KC, MO to visit my best friend for WM.

One botch away from * * * * * . Easily * * * * 1/2 still. Asuka/Bayley seemed ok. I was watching that before WM but there were a bunch of other people in the room talking so it was hard to pay attention. Zayn/Nakamura was def a four star match (but I still liked the tag title match more).

Chad Gable is probably my favorite in ring wrestler right now.

That was a fun match. Those Revival guys do good heel work.
