Of course, this all changes if Ambrose were to win.

How about pulling Roman under the bottom rope in the Rumble, beating him up and then leaving him on the floor with 40+ minutes to go and not thinking to eliminate him?

These are the type of details that used to get hashed out on the road by creatively inclined wrestlers. Now creativity has been frowned upon and most of creative comes from the boss' daughter. It's nepotism and it's insulting to our intelligence. I was at the peak of fandom when I was about 12 to 14 years old and I wasn't dumb back then either. Their child fan base could poke holes through today's booking. It's pathetic.
