Also, I just wanted to add that the vibe I got when Roman was eliminated, wasn't that people were all that happy that he was gone, I think it was the initial shock that either DA or HHH was about to become Champ. Because I'm pretty sure everyone thought the last 2 were going to be H and RR once H's music hit.

My thoughts exactly. It didn't come across at all like a "yay Roman is gone!" pop it was more like "we get a new champion!" pop.
