Dig those feet in

???

I don't know man. Seems to me like you're looking for a fight over something that is completely logical.

It's like saying "What a surprise. The people who didn't want the Patriots to win the Superbowl were upset when they won."

Ummm....duh?

I side with Heretic there. I didnt hate/love Roman, but him winning last night did make me like him more.

Good job Vince.

Maybe the WWE has learned their lesson to not blow a bunch of money promoting these guys, before they know what they have. Adam Rose had like a month promotional campaign before his debut. Jobber. Fandango was hyped, and had pretty fancy looking pyro. Jobber. Bo Dallas, The Ascension, Emma...all had the company push them before their debuts, all jobbers.

Come to think of it, I can't think of an NXT call up who had a shit ton of promotion behind them, who ended up being successful. The Shield just came out and beat up a guy. Owens just came out randomly. Big E was just a bodyguard. Ryback just squashed people right out of the gate. There was no "Ryback is coming!" promotion put behind him. Seems to me like the random call ups have better luck. Hmph, maybe all hope isn't lost for Breeze afterall.

NXT dudes get fucked by Vince and Dunn. Not their fault. Not invented here. You need to win to get over. Not job like fuckers all the time. I.e. Ascension could have come in and be a proper dark tag team. Instead they got buttfucked.

Exceptions:
1) Fandango was going to get a title run but he got injured and that means you're shit for Vince. He took a fuck it gimmick and got over. Now he's the streetwalker category of jobber.

2) Owens is doing fine.

A buildup campaign is rassling 101 ;) you don't just dump a dude in.

One thing I liked last night was when KO came to the ring and attacked Ambrose and Ziggler. The little interview bit w/ JoJo definitely helped too. I never saw any of Steen's stuff from ROH, when I am pretty sure he had a crazy sociopath character (could be wrong), so I am looking forward to how this develops.

I wasn't even talking to you to begin with

Fandango was never over. His theme song was. King put an end to that in one promo.

Yeah, and he just came out randomly to challenge Cena. There wasn't any video package for weeks telling you this guy is the shit. He just came out and kicked ass.

Then explain how the guys who didn't get one(Owens, Shield), are doing a fuckload better then the ones who did(Dallas, Fandango, Rose, Ascension, Neville).

I'm sure it's just coincidence, but it's not a rule that you have to build guys up before they debut for them to have success. In fact, you might be doing them a disservice, because you're setting them up to fail, because of expectations.

I guess Rusev is an exception though. He was heavily promoted and is doing okay. Then again, he's nothing without Lana.

Does anyone have the Meltzer/Alvarez review of TLC?

Cruiserweight belt, could have a good mix of guys. Of course, I am sure people will hate this idea.

I like the idea... means people like Calisto when they inevitably break up that team, Neville, and others actually have something to do that seems halfway meaningful rather than becoming punching bags for Ryback/Owens and others.

Naw it's pretty much the same character he has now but instead of fight owens fight it was kill steen kill.

I totally forgot that Sheamus offered Roman the chance for a rematch, LMAO.

No more belts. In fact, less belts. Get rid of the US title, and make a strong mid card with the IC belt. That's what it's there for. If you're a jobber, too fuckin' bad. You don't get a consolation belt to fight over.

The circle is complete Roman was the apprentice in Philly at rumble and now he is the master in Philly with the strap.

I don't like putting the belt on Reigns on a random Raw, no build-up, no pay-off, just fuck it whatever here ya go. WCW 2000 shit. At least when Seth won the belt it felt like the belt mattered because it was on a dominant force for such a long time. If you wanted Roman to get the belt have him beat Brock at Mania, so the build would have been longer and more and more fans would have been with him when he finally reached the mountaintop. Beating Sheamus on Raw to win the belt has nowhere near the same gravity as beating Brock at Mania. Scurred panic booking

I'm guessing it has a LOT to do with ratings. Every week we hear about struggling RAW ratings, so VKM and crew figure "fuck it" lets switch the belt on live TV so maybe fans will be worried about missing a big moment and tuning into RAW. Not saying I agree with it either, but that may be their line of thinking

If Vince was on TV every week, I'd watch every week on my river instead of every couple of weeks. Getting cable soon though.

The way he won is what made it good. He punked out HHH the night before then did it to the big boss the night he wins after busting himself open with a headbutt. I know the blood was unscripted (I think), but it was awesome they didn't pause the match to clean it up.
