PWD PWD 1231: 6'3", 240, 9 inches IWGP World Champ Edition

Watching Prime Time Wrestling from November '88 on the stream, they're promoting the upcoming Sugar Ray Leonard vs Donny Lalonde title fight that Vince lost a bunch of money on

It's always weird to see these early PPV's take place on week nights, this was on a Monday night just like Wrestlemania 2, because they were still figuring out the formula of success for this still relatively new entertainment format
And now its basically a dead format.

life comes at you pretty hard and fast

RIP to her notifications, whole lot of childless men who are most likely not allowed around children going to be saying alot of foul shit tonight and if she responds to anyone....all week.

I'm not gonna venture into the comments or even talk about the actual subject. But she didn't seem to be protesting things like the bag over the head spot while AEW was giving her a paycheck. She got released a few months ago and now all of a sudden is a crusader against the content. They did this type of content before she got hired there also, she seemed to be down with it when she signed that 6 figure AEW contract <lmao>

I mean, if the shoe fits.

I thought the match sucked as well and said as much in the thread last night, so I'm not defending the match or AEW. But it's funny someone who was happy to sign there when they did these types of matches and spots regularly, was happy to cash those checks for 2 and a half years while they did these types of spots, is magically against the spots right after getting fired from the company.

Her contract didn't expire, she was released.

They've released people regularly including wrestlers, ring announcers, managers and others. It just doesn't happen often.

They even did a WWE style mass release last year lol

Tod Gordon is currently hospitalized.

Gordon’s family posted a message on his Instagram account on Saturday, revealing that he has been hospitalized for some time. His family wants everyone to know that if you have reached out to Gordon recently and not heard back, it’s because he is currently focusing on his health.

Gordon’s family’s message reads:

From the Family of Tod Gordon:
We wanted to share that, Tod Gordon, is currently in the hospital and has been for some time. If you’ve reached out and haven’t heard back, please know he’s not ignoring anyone — he’s just focusing on his health right now.
While he is unable to receive visitors, we appreciate all your love, support, and prayers during this time. Please keep him in your thoughts.
Thank you

Nah haven't seen it yet, but now that you reminded me, those two episodes are gonna be what I watch tonight.

I remember them doing a "greys are future humans" episode a few years ago that was good.

Wrestlespective is dropping a Terry Funk documentary next Sunday
