Miss me with that cranberry tho. Don't fucking healthy up my Thanksgiving meal.

@Sycho Sid How did you lose 100 pounds? That's hella good. The most I've ever lost was 30 and it was a pain in the ass lol.

A lot of cutting terrible things out of my diet. Sodas, chips, frozen meals. After doing that I got a bariatric surgery to help keep me honest. Started cooking instead of eating out. Plus when you are over 300, it is easier to lose that much. I am the lightest I have been in over a decade. No more pre diabetes meds, cholesterol meds, or triglyceride meds. And the hormone change from the surgery has also helped me reduce the mental health meds I needed.

Hell yeah. I bet you feel a lot better now. Dealing with my own addiction has allowed me to see obese people in a new perspective. It's another addiction, it's just you can readily see their addiction as opposed to me where my alcohol addiction was hidden behind closed doors for the most part. I wish more people would understand that it's usually a dual diagnosis thing where the addiction is also accompanied by a mental disorder. I wasn't just an alcoholic, I had multiple mental disorders I was dealing with too. It sucked ass. Just like an obese person usually has something else going on as well.

I got random patches or hair on my back like Im Jon Moxley. Sometimes I like to flex in the mirror to remind the ghosts that follow me that I am That Guy. I flexed a lat and turned and I saw a bunch of patches of hair. Losing hair on my head but getting new growth on my back?! Is this some kind of sick joke!

Yeah, my Dad had a couple of surgeries and he dropped a ton of weight.

The gastric band really messed him up and gave him ulcers for years, so he had it removed and had a bypass instead, which reduced his cravings.

Only thing is that the surgeons cut his liver by mistake when they did it for him, costing him litres of blood, nearly killing him, opening him to sepsis and leaving a huge cross-shaped car on his chest.

He's dropped a lot of weight though and has a good relationship with food now. A lot of his problem was impulse control, as he has ADHD. Same with my uncle, who also had the surgery, but had far less complications.

I also told an old colleague about it who was severely overweight and had diabetes, and he dropped a lot too.

Good for you on the weight loss. I'm trying to drop a few pounds myself.

I fucked up today. I drank a Bang for my workout. Then drank another one and finished my theory application paper. I did it on analytical psychology. I was all tweaked out on 600mg of caffeine going off on archetypes and the collective unconscious for this made up client and periodically stopping to rant to my wife about how my life relates to this theory as well like Im a client <lmao>
