Oh, yeah. The show was good then. I remember that. Hopefully, they can get back to that. Maybe some of the fan backlash over the increased ticket pricing will knock some sense into them.

The ring sponsorships is big deal to me and I wish it wasnt because, like you said, its in other sports but then you have AEW which has minimal ring sponsorship stuff and that helps me get immersed in the action. It is what it is. At the end of the day if the show is good I'll look past it all.
 
You guys should wash that taste outta your mouth by watching the last few minutes of this NWA title change

I got used to New Japan vomiting adverts all over their rings for the last 20 years. I don't even notice them half the time anymore when companies do it because of New Japan <lmao>

The pop when the ref hits that 3 count was freaking insane because it was so unexpected, Flair and Garvin werent feuding and there was no foreshadowing that a title change was coming, it just happened boom right outta the blue and the fans in the Joe Louis Arena that night were shocked beyond belief
