@RollSonnenRoll @My Spot Year 2000 episode this week, nothing in there for me but I might check out the indies section because it looks like they talk about the Urban Wrestling Federation which was that gangsta rap meets rasslin gimick promotion that appeared for a moment in that early 2000's era when there were all these new start ups trying to get a piece of the rasslin biscuit, I think the expansion of cable television with all these new obscure extra channels popping up probably had a lot to do with that, they all need content, baybay

  • “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Debra Marshall get married in Las Vegas.
  • Eddie Guerrero invades the Playboy Mansion.
  • Stephanie McMahon bumping like crazy on Raw.
  • Tazz "quits" the WWF in a weird angle.
  • AJPW and NJPW kicking their interpromotional feud up another level as Toshiaki Kawada shows up at a NJPW show.
  • Nicole Bass getting arrested for biting a cop.
  • ECW canceling some house shows.
  • A gigantic and totally ridiculous WCW section featuring David Flair and Stacy Keibler's "wedding" on Nitro, Vince Russo's concussions, Paul Orndorff suffering a serious neck injury at Fall Brawl Mike Awesome’s alliance with Gary Coleman, and so much damn more.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. That's really interesting though, look forward to hearing about it.

I would be interested to hear more about Russo's concussions as well. That's always when he starts to pull the "Bro, I got concussions and they sent me home so you can't blame me!" for the weird creative. His window of time that he was fully booking gets shorter every year.
"Bro, bro, I was only really in charge for about 6 weeks, bro!"

This is the Urban Wrestling Federation

The title belt is a brick wall with graffiti spray painted on it like those old New York gang movies from the 1970's LoL

I think that was Young Jeezy in there too

At the end of that commercial it says its distributed by Stonecutters Media

Who makes blaxploitation rasslin groups?

@Pittie Petey Missy on WWF TV on the stream, I can just imagine Vince screaming in gorilla over her southern accent.

Watched the last couple of em right now

All the boos when she came out, wasnt she supposed to be a babyface

Its wild that they couldnt find a spot for her because she was so good at being bad but Vince tried to force her into this stereotypical 80's airhead Hollywood bimbo role, like one of those interviewers on Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous or whatever and it failed miserably

Vince kept that gimmick in his back pocket til he found Sable and by then television had become a whole lot raunchier, obviously, so he trashed it up a whole notch or two

People love serial killers.

I wonder if that is organic, though. The average person is very easy to persuade. Did you know in social psychology that persuasion is one of the most researched phenomenon? They have a ton of studies going back decades. And what they show us is just the exoteric knowledge they've learned. The esoteric stuff they keep under wraps is probably pretty wild.

Im still triggered that you ignored two of my amazing questions over the weekend so I got no time for your nonsense, Rex!

THATS MY LINE!!

Oh, yeah. I was wondering what that was about? I didnt even see any questions. I missed it.
