Would actually be a perfect time for him to go back to AEW. Apparently he left AEW on great terms and now AEW is working with CMLL where Andrade was a massive star. Andrade back in Arena Mexico would be huge.

AEW also has a lot of name guys on the shelf right now.

Great terms with the guy that fucked him outta the AAA title, back when that belt actually meant something...

If I remember right I don't think Tony Khan had anything to do with that booking. AAA didn't want Andrade as the AAA Mega Champion cause Andrade priced himself out. Andrade even went on a Twitter rant about AAA not wanting to pay him.

AEW booked him strong as fuck for the last 6 months he was there even with his contract ending. He was one of the main focuses of their Collision show for the first 6 months of it existing and they made him one of the highlights of the first Continental Classic tournament right before he was gone where he got wins over their top guys like Danielson on his way out.

I legit haven't seen a guy get booked so strong on his way out of a company in the last 30 years.

Im talking about the time he brought in Naitch against Kenny Omega but Tony vetoed it at the last minute cause he didnt want Kenny to lose while he was still AEW champion

I'm talking about that too. I just went back and read about it now. At first Kenny Omega was going to go over no matter what. Then plans changed and they laid a path for him to lose all of his belts. They had him lose the TNA belt to Christian, Andrade was next up to take the AAA title, then Hangman was up after that to take the AEW title, both TNA and AEW happened.

Apparently Kenny Omega showed up on the day of the show expecting to lose the belt, but AAA vetoed it and flat out didn't want Andrade as their champion.

Andrade then went public about AAA pay and after Vikingo won the belt he was publicly telling Vikingo AAA was screwing him.

Wonder if Charlotte was part of the reason?

But seriously, I don't think anyone anywhere really cares. Good wrestler, but outside of NXT, I cannot remember much he has done in America

Dirtsheets are saying Dragon Lee's WWE contract expires in 3 months and he hasn't been offered an extension yet.

They really cannot seem to decide what they want with him.
