Hell of a career, man. Don't be shy about your injuries and things you've built up over the years when you check out for the VA pay.
The kid is done with wrestling. He ended it strong. He was 3 spots from making the state tournament. The CA state tournament is one of the hardest state tournaments to qualify for in the country. He went like 40-12 his senior year. Was facing future d1 guys in his weight bracket. Ended up getting ranked top 25 in the state in his weight class but at the tournament to qualify for state he tweaked his shoulder in his 2nd match and was a little off the rest of the tournament. He ended still medaling but not qualifying for state. Now he's just lifting heavy and doing his engineering thing. Hes probably going to start BJJ sometime.
BJJ was the perfect transition for me after wrestling. Best of luck to him and superior Rex genetics. The engineering shit is super awesome.
My VA list is getting longer and longer. Been going to the doctors for all my shit over the past year. That 100 is inevitable.
