@RollSonnenRoll I've watched pretty much this whole dang film through fan cams on the socials over the past few days and I think this is my favorite gimmick of them all, it is prettay frickin' dope

@Stargazer Rex your beloved Modesto Nuts had a Lucha Libre Night last night to celebrate to celebrate the rich tapestry of our Beautiful Brown Culture

Also, RIP Modesto Nuts as they are playing their final game ever in the cozy confines of Modesto tonight and then relocating to the horrible town of San Bernadino and becoming the 66ers

That's pretty good. I wonder if this is going to be a continued gimmick for them. I didn't expect that the sphere would be a movie theatre experience type thing but I love the idea

I could see it becoming a special place for huge magical movies that you can convert into gimmicks like this, things like the classic original Willy Wonka movie

They'll prolly figure out a way to work Star Wars into this, maybe Jurassic Park

I could definitely see a magical Santa Claus movie becoming a holiday tradition here, not sure which one would fit it best but I'm sure theres one out there already

Things like that would put butts in seats imo

@RollSonnenRoll I hated how season 1 ended but this dang video has me so ready for season two, Tommy is one cool son of a biscuit, no doubt about it, I love the way he just dont give a shit and lays it out plain and simple to everyone who gives him shit
Fuck your feelings cause everything I'm saying is the truth and firing me or killing me aint gonna change one single fucking thing about how the world works, and if you kill me then you'll probably be doing me a favor so that dont worry me too much either

It feels exactly how a man who works in the oil industry would have to be. He doesn't seem like a cartoon character. I believe there are Tommy's on every rig in America.

I really hope the Sam Elliot character is a major part and interesting cause the only other character I liked, they killed off.

I also hope Demi Moore's character is a little more present, she was intriguing.

Everyone else is either too minor to care about or just unlikeable.

and the algorithm has been spitting the Jerry scene at me the last week since he controls the world

I still love it. It's not acting, it's a man genuinely telling his life story.

Yea, I really expected there to be a lot more board room wheeling and dealing with Jon Hamm, I kept waiting for it and then boom he just frickin' up and dies outta nowhere, not cool

Holy moley, I dont know if I heard this the first time and forgot or if I missed it but Brentwood, the town he mentions thats 30 miles from San Francisco that he drilled gas wells in, is now the same gentrified town with all the dog restaurants

Wow

Wikipedia says he bought the Cowboys in '89 so he woulda been drilling out here probably in the early 80's, back then this was all fields and streams and fruit orchards as far as the eye could see, just beautiful country and farm land for hundreds and hundreds of miles

And then that dang Jerry Jones had to come and ruin it with those frickin pump jacks! 🤬

It would've been an all time troll moment if the cartel boss who saved Tommy had been Taylor Sheridan instead of Andy Garcia.

What source does Sean Ross Sapp have at ESPN? The janitor?

No shit though, it's probably obvious that ESPN wasn't happy with an ad read on an official WWE podcast saying you can watch all of WWE on Netflix with a VPN right after ESPN gave them $1.6 billion dollars to air their PLEs <lmao>

This is just like back in '84 when Vince made that deal with Ted Turner and promised all new fresh content taped at the TBS studios each and every week and then promptly launched a taped package recap full of matches from arenas in the Northeast on week 1

ESPN just learned a very valuable lesson about how the McMahons operate

I bet Vince is looking down and chuckling at the swerve from his favorite kid

I gotta admit, Bix popped me pretty good on an episode I was listening to this morning. It was the choppy choppy peepee storyline with Val Venus and Yamaguchi. JR says on commentary "Val put a smile on her face!" and Bix goes "That's not the only thing!" <lmao>

It is hard to believe he is 70.

It is all that clean living. For a vegan who doesn't drink or smoke, he is super convincing as an old drunk
