There was some disappointment this weekend though when it was confirmed that the Pink Pony song on the radio isn't a reference to the legendary strip club that used to be near the Atl airport.

@Pittie Petey This AWA on the stream was taped in some convention center in Oakland, I thought by the summer of 86 their ESPN show was always taped in Vegas.
It was the same show where Stan Hansen was defending the title in one match but then the rest of the matches were in Vegas. Was it the AWA Battly By The Bay show that aired live on the ESPN?

This is too bad, Jake The Milkman Milliman was a great fan favorite in the last few years of the AWA
The hard luck jobber who tried his best but lost every week til finally the fans got behind so big that the promotion had to give him a fun underdog babyface push
FORMER AWA STAR JAKE MILLIMAN ENTERS HOSPICE CARE
By Mike Johnson on 2025-08-24 10:54:00
Mick Karch has announced that former AWA star Jake "The Milkman" Milliman has entered hospice care.
Best known for his enhancement work in Verne Gagne's AWA, Milliman debuted in the early 1980s, regularly putting over top heels, including Ken Patera, Jerry Blackwell and Bobby Duncum Sr., among others. He would occasionally team with top babyfaces and get wins there but was always positioned as a lower card babyface.
Milliman's most known role was during the latter days of the promotion as part of the promotion's Team Challenge Series, which saw several talents lead teams seeking a fictional $1 Million prize. Milliman scored a big win over Col. DeBeers in a "Turkey Hunt" match, where Milliman won after grabbing a turkey stuffed with cash from a pole above the ring. He would later win a battle royal, scoring the win for the entire TCS for Larry Zbyszko's team.
Milliman would also do enhancement bouts for the WWF in the late 1980s, including losing to Adrian Adonis in Adonis' final WWF TV bout and would work for Dick the Bruiser's WWA as well. Milliman would work independents from time to time through 2017.
PWInsider.com sends our best to Jake Milliman's family, friends and fans.
Thanks to Cory Strode.
My mom liked him.
My mom liked the American Males. She told me Scottie Riggs could be my new dad. I was OK with that.
Scottie Riggs currently has a nice stable job working backstage with AEW as well. Step dad Scottie could've gotten you free tickets I bet.
