Guess where I took Roxie yesterday, a Labubu Festival! LoL
We went to kick it with her homie Kobe in
@moonwolf mama's hood of Brentwood, Ca and they wanted to go down to the gentrified town square area where theres all kinds of dog friendly restaurants and stores and bars and what not
When we got there, we saw they were actually having an anime & food festival in the park so we strolled around a bit and enjoyed the beautiful weather and fun vibes and saw lots of Labubus and Pokemans for sale, then we hit up a couple different restaurants and breweries
It was Roxie's first time doing anything like that and she did amazing!
There were dogs everywhere and she didnt even bother with them, even when we passed by inches away from them inside the restaurants
I know she's fully socialized so I wasnt worried about her doing anything bad but she's very playful and exciteable on our walks, especially when we see other dogs, so I just didnt want her jumping and trying to roughhouse around all these strangers that dont know her but she behaved like a frickin champion at all times
I think part of it was because her and Kobe were playing nonstp in the backyard for an hour before we left so she may have been already tuckered out a bit
Then when the sun started going down, all the lowriders and big ass monster trucks and old school Detroit muscle started cruising through the area so we chilled out there just walking the streets and people watching
She got lots of comments as we walked past all the bars with outdoor seating areas "Aww, so cute" and " Roxie Sox, oh she's a girl!" and a few surprised "Whoa!" when people looked up and saw a massive pibble walking right at em LoL
The restaurants down there were super dog friendly, the waitresses even bring you dog water bowls and ice cream pup cups as soon as youre seated and have unseasoned meat patties on the menu
Then we went back to Kobe's house so they could cap off the night playing keep away and wrestling nonstop for 3 hours over a watermelon rind
All in all, a good doggie day and we had us two pooped pooches after the dust had settled
