You just know it sticks in Double J’s craw that Hogan came into TNA and basically ousted him from his own company. Now that company is in partnership with WWE and doing well. That’s mailbox money that could be in Hendersonville every other Friday!

Cornette was just talking about this a few weeks ago when he was reading his emails to Terry Taylor…..looks like it was Russo who got Dixie to get rid of Jarrett and then Dutch, then Cornette.

Brought in Ferrara and then they were the ones who were ousted by Hogan and Bischoff.

If Russo and Ferrara were the ones booking before Hogan and Bischoff they were doing an excellent job. 2009 TNA was red hot before Hogan took over.

I still remember watching their PPV like two months before Hogan took over and loving every minute of it. Amazing Red vs. Homicide, Kurt Angle vs. Nigel McGuinness, AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels. TNA was having some fun shows before Hogan and Bischoff sucked every bit of fun out of it lol

Jarrett had already been in hot water with Dixie over being involved with Karen so he was already struggling in 2009 and on shaky ground when Hulk and Bischoff came in.

Didn’t they also have that weird Angle/Sting feud while they both were Mainevent Mafia and comedic jobber Eric Young being the leader of the jobbers World Elite who were supposed all of a sudden be the top heel faction even tho most of them were all job guys.
