Superman was a solid movie. I liked the casting of all the characters a lot, Nicholas Hoult was a way better Lex Luthor than that bullshit they did with Jessie Eisenberg.

Just a fun superhero flick to kick back and shut the brain off for 2 hours and enjoy.

I thought the very beginning was a creative way to hook you off the jump. I wasn't expecting all that. It was a neat movie.

That Yorick clown was talking smack about Barry Bonds doing steroids so I reminded him that hes also a juice head himself and he didnt like that one bit

He spent the next 30 minutes completely losing it, calling me fat and challenging me to post my pic so I did, when that didnt work he started talking shit about scum bag street gangs like that was gonna hurt me, then he just got racist and started typing in all caps ICE! LA MIGRA! ICE! LA MIGRA!, finally he started crying about his health problems

It was weird as fuck

Then he asked a mod to delete everything because he was embarrassed at his actions

I just wish we could get a Lex Luthor with more of a motivation than just "kill Superman". He's a great villain, but this movie didn't really show how sinister he can really be. We haven't had a great Lex since the Justice League cartoon.

I thought Lex pulling out a revolver and shooting that food cart worker in the head in front of Superman with some Russian roulette and cracking a joke about how fast that was since it was only the second trigger pull was pretty sinister

Great concept, bad execution.

The footage of him as an adult was way more interesting than the movie before it.

I loved it, probably partly because I had no idea what it was about, I just pushed play on a random movie and went in completely blind so I was blown away as the story and the chaos unfolded

They really shoulda continued that universe

One of the things I also really enjoyed about the Superman movie was how bright all over the colors were. Even something as simple as Superman's tights being colorful. Felt like a comic book. There's been so much gloomy emo darkness in so many super hero movies, including the last Superman.

I want some gloomy darkness in Batman, not things like Superman, shout out to James Gunn for that.
