Nash's promo and hat almost killed the angle before it started.

"This show's about as interesting as Marge Schott reading excerpts from Mein Kampf."

<23>
You didn't get that reference? Even as a kid I got it because the Marge Schott stuff was all over ESPN and the news.

@RollSonnenRoll im thinking of getting another 1400 calorie milkshake. Talk me out of it dammit!

It's cool rewatching stuff from back then and picking up on things that went over my head as a kid.
Like the Billionaire Ted skit with Larry King and "Jane from Hanoi" calls in. That's good shit pal. <lmao>
Or at WW3 when Hogan dropped the black gimmick and set the paper on fire. "This right here is a dirt sheet. Well observe this brother!"

For the longest time I thought Pillman called Kevin Sullivan "Boogerman" at Superbrawl because that was a video game on SNES and Genesis at the time.

I remember that game, my granny rented it for me to play at her house

I knew about Hanoi Jane but the Observer stuff definitely went over my head

I got the reference but I'm not sure the typical Dubya C Dubya fan at the time knew who Marge Schott was and what Mein Kampf was.

Staying at this fancy pants hotel with a private balcony overlooking the lake. They had all these free fancy cocktails for us in the room and I legit don't give a fuck about that poison but I can't resist a damn milkshake, Roll! Make it make sense!

The demons have got me!

Member how shocked John Travolta was at a $5 milkshake, LoL, today I'd be shaken to my core if i could find a milkshake that only cost 5 bucks

What a horrible turn of events this turned out to be
Do y'all have Johnny Rockets out west? They didn't do the costumes but it was this throwback 1950's dinner gimmick. They used to have the best shakes and they'd bring it to you in that metal cup that they mix it in so it was extra cold!

@My Spot The one in Buckhead has been closed for years but it was a staple of any 90's/2000's trip to Lennox

I think Johnny Rockets replaced Jocks and Jills at the CNN Center.

I believe it. I've read that sugar activates the same areas in our brain as heroin does.

I'm thinking about those Johnny Rockets shakes right this damn second and I can TASTE it!

We had one at the mall that got hit by the airplane on Christmas Eve back in 1985 but I never ate there, I doubt its still there

@RollSonnenRoll You went to Lenox Square as a kid? I bet you refer to your car hole as a "garage".
Yeah every now and again. It was an "occasion" though, if you whill.

Especially around the holidays. Lennox at Christmas was magical back in those days
