35 years ago today, legendary pro wrestling announcer Lee Marshall, who worked for the AWA and later WCW and also one single time for WWF as he worked the Los Angeles portion of Wrestlemania 2, made his gangsta rap debut when he appeared alongside legends like Eazy-E, Ice T, Tone Loc, MC Hammer and many others on the anti-violence anthem We're All In The Same Gang

Lee played the voice of the news announcer on the beginning of the song

@Stargazer Rex you may or may not know that Lee Marshall is one of your people, he was the voice of Tony The Tiger in the Frosted Flakes commercials for many, many years

The Business has changed forever

The firm’s name appears to be a reference to a location of historical significance for McMahon and WWE. A 2006 article on WWE.com noted that the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the predecessor to WWE, was headquartered at the corner of 14th and I Streets in Washington D.C., around the 1950s and 1960s, when the company was led by McMahon’s father, Vincent J. McMahon.

Lee Marshall was great, his voice was just straight up built for the business. Him and Bobby Heenan together was always gold.

WCW doing that gimmick where Lee would travel around the country going to cities WCW is going to soon and calling Schiavone live on the air through 1-800-Collect was a great way to incorporate a sponsor lol

I wish I never knew that he just phoned those in from his house and wasn't actually on the road. This damn Business, man!
