I just watched the first episode of Earnhardt on prime. This is some good stuff. If you know, Dale's story not get anything new but was put together perfectly. Man was an absolute maniac in his early days.

These old cars are a sight to behold.

Dale v Darrell is one of the best rivalries in sports.


It did hit me in the feels. When he died, it was like a family member passed. My dad didn't say anything, he just came and grabbed me and put his arm around me.

I give Mencia some credit for sticking to the gimmick. He was on Bobby Lee's podcast a couple years ago and still wouldn't admit to stealing the jokes. The Mexican tribalism was interesting. I remember when the De la Hoya vs Trinidad fight went down in 1999. Across from us lived a Puerto Rican family. We were smack dab in the heart of Eastside San Jose. They used to have a Puerto Rican flag hanging in their garage. They were kind of weird to us but they mostly kept to themselves and quiet. After Trinidad won they were acting all crazy running around the street with their Puerto Rican flag. I don't think they realized how close they were to getting hurt. They went inside pretty quick when people started watching them.

I live in a Mexican neighborhood. My neighborhood is hilarious with boxing. Whenever Canelo Alvarez fights you'd think it was a Mexican national holiday going down. Like 8 houses on my block will have full bands in the back yard and like half the block will be shooting big ass fireworks like it's New Years or the 4th of July.

I live in a split neighborhood with Mexican and whites. But a Mexican family bought the house across from me and had a house warming party until like 2am. That pissed the white neighbor off next to them. He went over there to complain. When they left they did donuts right in front of his house. I went out there to watch and my white neighbor was yelling, "is this necessary?!"

Me and my family are quiet and never have parties. He looked over at me after and I just gave him the Michael Jordan shrug and went inside.
