That movie had such a great soundtrack, one of the best ever, bar none!

I did a rewatch of the movie like a year ago and then went down a rabbit hole reading about the nooks and crannies of the movie and learned the building they used for The Carter, called Graham Court in Harlem got gentrified like 20 years ago is expensive condos now days with small apartments going for like $3000 a month<lmao>

@Frank23 what was all that talk at the end of My World yesterday about this new project that’s got Jeff so excited?
<EdgyBrah>
Ho-ho, lotta chatter going on!

Roxie musta saw I was struggling on the weights today cause she walked over and goosed me good with her snout right up my cornhole as I was doing my military presses, perked me right up and gave me the will to go on

I had to reduce the weight on my butterflies, though, cause I couldnt take the excruciating pain in my left shoulder anymore, figure doing them at an easy weight and getting something in is better than skipping them altogether cause it feels like frickin ice picks grinding into my bones at every turn

I do not care for that theme at all, Roll, not one bit!
I don't like the weird rapping verses but the guitar riff and chorus are great. That smoker's laugh at the start pops me every time. It's so over the top bad guy.

@Stargazer Rex I had an encounter with a reptile yesterday and I figured you would like to know about it

I walked into the bathroom and noticed something in the little garbage can next to the sink, at first I thought it was a little snake but when I picked up the can I saw it was a lizard

I have no idea how long it was in there so i shook the can a little to see if it was alive and it didnt move, but then I thought "You know what, i have a feeling this little guy still has some fight left in him"

I took the can to the back door and gently dumped him onto the back stair ramp that I built for Fred when he could barely walk anymore, at first he just laid there but then I think he realized he was free and he quickly scurried off the ramp under the safety of the stairs

As he was flopping down I noticed he had a blue belly, I member when we were kids the rumor was that touching a blue belly lizard will make ya sick, I have no idea if thats true or not but I didnt touch him anyways

I never even look at that garbage can usually but for some reason I checked it yesterday morning, he musta been sending out vibes to the universe that he was in need of assistance and ole Pete is always here to help if he can

After I was done saving a life, I thought "Man, that was kinda like one of my all time favorite Twilight Zone episodes where the 5 people are trapped in the round cylinder trying to get out, and when they finally do we learn that theyre just toys in a donation bin"

Quite a wild ride, to say the least

@Pittie Petey My sister drove up to Nashville last night and went to Bluebird Cafe. It's a cool little venue where they don't even have a stage, the artists just sit out amongst you

That could be me and you sitting there enjoying some fine, old timey country music

I suspect I would enjoy that very much, Roll, very much indeed!

They had 8 different people on the bill and she said each one sounded even better than the last. Imagine thinking you’re generationally talented because you have the best voice where you grew up but you get to Nashville and 7 people who sound better than you are playing to 50 people in a cafe

If I’ve said it once then I’ve said it a thousand times, it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll!

They just announced Carlos Menstealia is working the old timey theater here next weekend, I wonder if he's still funny or if he's just a greatest hits act like George Lopez now

Do I dare risk the 250 bucks for dinner, drinks and a show just to see this dork and find out

I liked his early stuff. Kinda thought Rogan's ambush was shit, too. Not the timing or sticking up for a little guy who's joke got stolen. Good on him for that. The "Is your real name Carlos?" No. His middle name is Carlos. It's a stage name. "Were you born in Mexico?" No. He was born in Honduras which is Mexico's Mexico. What the hell, man.

I think Rogan was just being the voice for some of his Mexican comic friends who at the time couldn't really speak up about Mencia or their careers would've been hurt. Mencia was stealing bits from Mexican comics about being Mexican, when he wasn't even Mexican.

Carlos isn't his middle name either. His name is Ned Arnel Mencia. Mitzi Shore told him to start using a more Mexican sounding name, so he picked Carlos lol

Mencia is brown as fuck and has 17 brothers and sisters. Wasn't born here. Grew up in LA. He can be Mexican if he wants lol

I don't think people gave a fuck about him pretending to be Mexican. They cared about him stealing the bits about being Mexican from Mexican comics lol
