Big Lou was never going to be allowed to win especially with the movie. I wonder if his dad knew. His dad seemed smartened up to The Business. He still did the right thing and pushed Lou to win. It was still a big opportunity for him to get over.

Frank Zane basically said that. He realized real quick that this was all about Arnold and everybody else would look bad so he wouldn’t do it. So that’s why he’s not in it at all despite training with all of them and being a top competitor that year
