LoL, I like knowing what I'm in for since I'm most likely gonna be too drunk to recognize half the songs anyways

I studied the Jelly Roll and Post Malone setlist on the moment their tour started a month ago and lets just say it leaves a lot to be desired, Jelly Roll only does like 10 songs and Post does 25!

Lets reverse that in San Francisco, shall we
What?! That's not a co-headline at all

@RollSonnenRoll speaking of concerts, they just released the full daily schedules for all the county fair activities, theres actually gonna be 4 concerts happening on the day I go, a Grateful Dead cover band at the horse track stage, an adult contemporary jazz outfit in the wine garden and a country cover band at the honkytonk saloon and then the previously mentioned Gym Class Heroes backpack nerd rap in the main amphitheater, all of em at or around 8 pm so I'm set for the evenings entertainment, I have plenty to choose from

I was looking up the bands right now and the country band has footage from last year's fair on their IG page and just watching this little video gave me the warm and fuzzy butterflies of anticipation LoL, its almost here, boys!

Do you look up the set lists before a show? My sister was telling me she was looking at the set list Metallica has been doing and I quickly told her to shut the fuck up. The entire point of a concert is the excitement of when the next song hits and it's your favorite. My cousins do the same thing. It makes no sense to me.

Will they play Sanitarium? Probably not. But I want to have the hope that maybe they will and lose my shit if they do.

i know how they're formatting the setlists for the tour, yeah. I tend to make a playlist of the setlist like weeks before if I can and listen to it loads 😂

They probably already have one on Spotify, I've already informed everyone going to the Jelly Roll concert about the Spotify playlist so they can be prepared to sing along at the show LoL

@RollSonnenRoll Looks like theyre also offering a 9 hole golf course as part of the festivities this year, that will probably occupy some happy dads time as their daughters and wives roam about the fairgrounds in cheek baring cut off shorts

Holy moley, Roxie just did the most cutest thing ever!

I put on my Tae Bo Amped Turbo Charged Fat Burner video to do my cardio calisthenics and as soon as Roxie heard the music and saw Billy Blanks on the tv screen, she froze and watched for a second and then jumped off the couch and ran over to the tv and started squiggling and wiggling all around like she was ready to get her gainz on, IT WAS SO FRICKIN ADORABLE!!

Oh, I wish I woulda caught that on video

❤️🐶❤️

Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Salman Hashimikov died yesterday. Guy had a really weird short career. Was a champion in amateur wrestling in Russia and freestyle wrestling World Champion. Decided to try pro wrestling at damn near 40 years old so he went to Japan and got in the NJPW Dojo. Inoki was so impressed with him that he made him IWGP Champion 3 months after he started by beating Vader for the championship. Lost the belt just a little over a month later then left New Japan like a year after that. Came to WCW, wrestled 2 matches during that Starrcade tag tournament in 1990, then left the business for 3 years. Came back for a few matches in UWFi and then retired.

Guy had a really short career, but he managed to do a lot during it. He was damn near 40 when he started in pro wrestling, would've been dope if he started 10 years earlier and had a run in the 80's.

This is a cool clip of him carrying Bam Bam Bigelow around like he's a toddler.

I thought it was him that had a brutal hard hitting match against an American in New Japan but I cant remember who the American was, I wanna say Buzz Sawyer or Rick Steiner but nothing is popping up on Youtube

I think Brad Rheingans was there as a second

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else, though

@My Spot I'm listening to this week's BTS about 1996, I never heard of this Hardwork Bobby Walker character before but Kris and @Bix appear to be correct, he sure does love trying and failing to walk the ropes LoL

Man, y’all really seem to like this show so I’m assuming it can’t be bad. I don’t know if I can listen to Bix for 5 hours though. I’m intrigued but I just don’t know!

Hulk Hogan vs Terry Funk in December '85 with Hulk entering the ring to Hulk's Theme, I like how they're already playing Hulk's Theme as Terry is being introduced, it just adds a bit of excitement to the proceedings

@RollSonnenRoll @Stargazer Rex

@My Spot it looks like the Hogan '86 was already being used in late 1985, do you know when it debuted

October 1985.

You've never heard of him? He was part of the racial discrimination lawsuit against WCW and supposedly got a 7 figure settlement.

Its really good if you want to hear two hardcore rasslin nerds talk about rasslin history with no side stories or dumb characters or "funny" running storyline gimmicks or any extra razzle dazzle, just hardcore internet dweeb style fact based conversations
Thats why I enjoy it but its not for everyone, I can see some people finding it too plain and Kris & @Bix can definitely get irritating with their neckbeardness sometimes
Its a great resource if you just want to learn the history of this fine bidness, though

Wikipedia says Thunderbolt Patterson was his uncle, if thats true then they shoulda known better than to even bring him in, aint one single rasslin promotion anywhere below the Mason-Dixon that ole T-Bolt aint sued or threatened to sue LoL

I wouldn't be surprised if he did face racism there but again Bobby Walker was never gonna be more than a lower mid card guy at best.

Bobby Walker sucked ass. It's wild that he managed to collect WCW checks for an entire decade.

I know some of their stuff but not a lot. Looking forward to seeing how they are live.
One of the highest energy live performances ever recorded, this might've been the last time they opened for Metallica as well. Mike Muir used to love him some Colombian marching powder 🤣 Still great live though, they have Slipknot's previous drummer and the guitarist from The Dillinger Escape Plan with them right now.
