And it was awesome to see.

Jelly Roll & Post Malone brought out Eminem at their concert in Detroit a couple days ago

I was just thinking who they could bring out at the concert in San Francisco but I bet I already figured it out, i bet they bring out fucking G-Eazy

Hopefully it's at least E40 or Too Short. If G-Eazy came walking out I'd be like

E-40 is the most likely option cause he is to the Bay Area as Snoop Dogg is to America, he's our official mascot that shows up at all the Giants and warriors games and is the token ghetto celebrity that appears at all the rich folks events and photo ops, he can come and go into that ballpark as he pleases

Plus, I could definitely see him and Jelly Roll working together on something

@Based God you know who I been bumping lately, Kam, he was frickin dope with that LA gangster rap sound but a little more gritty and raw on a conscious tip

His Ice Cube diss song is never mentioned but it is one of the best imo

Peace Treaty was a banger too

His NOI white man is the devil raps over g-funk beats was great lol usually only heard that stuff with New York hip hop.

Would've been cool if Hulkster's New Japan run after he left WWF was longer than 3 matches, he was still a spry 40 years old and it would've been cool seeing him rassle and Axe Bomber people's heads off more.

In the Bay Area, we had Paris and Askari X

Pittie, bringing back a long forgotten memory with Paris. Damn man, I really miss the 80's and early 90's pro black hip-hop and rap. I know he's not Nor Cal but that post made me think about how Ice Cube may have one of the best discographies of the 90's. Three albums back to back all classics. AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted, Death Certificate and The Predator. In fact, Death Certificate is one of the best hip-hop/rap albums of all time imo.

I dont like The Predator as much as the other two but from Straight Outta Compton(Cube wrote Boyz N The Hood, which changed West Coast rap music forever) to Amerikkkaz Most Wanted to Kill At Will and then Death Certificate, thats definitely the greatest gangster rap run of all time imo

Death Certificate is up there on the same level as The Chronic, its a flawless album

And sense were on the subject, I personally think Scarface is the greatest rapper of all time, based on the depth of his catalogue, he is still dropping top quality music 40 years later, very few musicians of any genre that you can say that about

I forgot about Kill at Will. That was also an amazing EP. Unfortunately, I have lived in the south most of my life so I am not as knowledgeable about Scarface. I just remember that song "Guess Who's Back" with Scarface. That song still bumps and that's during the era when Kanye couldn't stop producing bangers. My brother introduced me to west coast hip hop. My brother played Eazy E's "Eazy Duz It" album nonstop. That was my first introduction to west coast hip-hop/rap.

My question about west coast hip-hop though is what happened to all the latin hip-hop groups? Cypress Hill is the most famous but I remember liking Delinquent Habits and then nothing. I was waiting for other groups to pop up.
