I used to hate when WWF would shorten guys names but in this case they should cut Rey and just call him Fenix, he'll never be able to shake that association with Rey Misterio Jr to a WWE crowd and it will always be a hindrance, he doesnt have the singles star level charisma to get past it imo

He hasn't looked like a star. Penta was always more over, but Fenix is really good at what he does. IDK. It feels like a combination of them not showcasing him right and him not being as big a star as his brother who people are going to naturally compare him to.

Fenix is great as part of the Lucha Bros but he will never be a huge singles star in the US Of America like he would in Mexico


Penta, on the other hand, can carry a whole promotion on any continent, stupid Tony!
 
Think people like Fenix and Dragon Lee might just be boned in American companies. They'll always pop a crowd during a match doing some cool shit, but nobody seems to give a shit enough to actually get behind them for a push since they can't cut good promos and ain't oozing charisma during matches.

I think he should lose the mask and become a nasty heel. But I don't think they care about him enough to give him that much creative and he may not have the talent to pull it off.

A few years back I read Fenix is the ugly duckling of the family and Penta is really handsome lol

Fenix would probably have to be a heel, ain't nobody cheering an uggo!
