@My Spot looks like your girl Hollyhood Haley J is headed to Power Slap

Also Marty The Moth Martinez from Lucha Underground fame, I liked that weirdo when he was in that promotion

Power Slap - the controversial TV show from UFC head Dana White - is set to produce a season featuring professional wrestlers as contestants.

Per a report from Fightful Select, Sinn Bodhi - fka Kizarny in WWE - has been recruiting for the show, with indy stars such as Casanova Valentine, Mechawolf, Juicy Finau, Stunt Marshall, Mazzerati, Facade, HollyHood Haley J, Alice Crowley, Christi Jaynes, Marty the Moth, Bruno El Oso Blanco, The Suavectios, Dani Mo and others set to compete.

Dana White is said to have met with many of the talent approached for the season, with talent apparently told by some under the Power Slap umbrella to generate buzz.

Whilst the exposure from appearing on Power Slap - and what is said to be a good payday for the indie talents approached - will be beneficial, there are obvious concerns around concussions and other head injuries associated with blunt force blows to the head.

Since being established as a slap fighting league in 2022, there have been three televised series of Power Slap, with many contests filmed in UFC’s Apex arena in Las Vegas.

Imagine that pitch from Dana to H and Nick Khan?

"Bro it's gonna be like the fuckin' Brawl for All, but with just slaps!"

"Stay the fuck away from our roster and find some fuckin' indy guys to do it!"

@Based God @RollSonnenRoll this actually looks really good imo, saw some heavy Happy Gilmore/Waterboy/Tin Cup influences in there but I love all those movies so Im ok with it

Is Owen Wilson poised for a career resurgence?

"From the home of Ted Lasso", theyre doing a lotta stretching to get that connection in there LoL

It's a carny business

I wish there was a little more comedy. It seems to be really leaning into that Judd Apatow "dramedy" genre. It feels heartfelt though. I could see it being worth a watch. I've always enjoyed Owen Wilson.

Thats what I liked about it, appeared to be more of a heartwarming story with some endearing characters and emotion in there instead of the classic goofball comedy stuff but I also thought this was a movie, turns out its a series, less piqued now

Ole Pete loves him a good chick flick, no doubt about it

I'm a fan of Judy Greer in anything. Looks like a small role but she is alway tremendous.

Yea, I been a fan of hers since she was a young hot tramp on Big Bang Theory, its a shame she's usually playing the mom/friend roles where she's dressed conservatively and not showing off that hot bod of hers cause she has got the goods, no doubt about it

You had me at Tin Cup. That movie doesn't get anywhere near the attention that it should. Prime Costner being just as Costner as he could be, Don Johnson letting his smarmy side out, Cheech being an awesome sidekick, Rene Russo looking just as sweet as pie. And that final hole? Forget about it. Top notch movie on all counts.

And all those glorious 90's character actors as his ragtag group of friends
