Lex's speech was very heartfelt and genuine. The WalMart story was weird though. He basically said he had never met a wrestling fan out in the world until he went to a Walmart <lmao>

I mean, I can go out and not talk to a single soul unless they talk to me first and I'm just a regular guy. Jacked and handsome but still just a regular guy. If you are very introverted it's pretty common and then you add Lex Luger's canonically accurate narcissism in the mix!

When I was 14 I saw Lex in the parking lot of a diner, me and my friends went to ask him for an autograph and before we could get within 20 feet of him Doug Dellinger happened to be there and did a beeline to us to cut us off <lmao>

That also happened with Hogan a year later. Doug Dellinger was on top of his game lol

Doug Dillinger was clutch at diners, not so much in the actual arenas based off all the stories I’ve heard from wrestlers losing their gear and jewelry backstage when they were working a match.

Would it kill the WWE production truck to turn the mics up on the crowd or at least pump in some crowd noise like the old'en days.

Is it as quite in that building as it's coming across on screen @Batjester
Noise was up and down all night. Once again, the crowd kept having a hard time getting in sync, and when they finally did the chants died out.

Prime example - crowd couldn't decide if they were going to chant Stephanie or La Primera. (I will say I saw the smoke starting up about a minute before she came out, but wasn't 100% it would be her). Yes, I marked the fuck out.

All these casuals today have no riddim.

Quarter after midnight Vegas time and I'm ready to give my review of Raw after Mania!

Got there early. Should have got this one shirt that was kinda cool but didn't, and of course it had sold out when we left.

Crowd had a weird energy going in. Still hyped up - we had Yeah (I started that one), Yeet, Dirty Dom, and Let's Go Cena/Cena sucks chants before anything even started. But one again crowd couldn't get in sync for the most part.

Opened with 2 matches for Main Event. Wilde vs Kaiser was pretty good (you can guess who won) and then Creeds vs New Catch Republic. Another really good match, wrong team won.

Opening with Cena was the right call, and it was fucking LOUD. Great heel promo and Randy with the RKO was perfect. Nice of Joe Hendry to put over Randy so he could challenge John.

Women's tag match was fun. I was about 50% sure Becky would turn on Lyra at the start of the match. 90% sure when they lost the match. And 100% sure when she went in for the hug. Yes, I was one of the sick fucks chanting one more time. Glad Liv has her tag belt back.

Might not have been shown but A-Town Down Under came out (this may be after a different segment) and said they were the #1 contenders which brought out the War Raiders to ZERO pop. They claimed they were still wanting a piece of the New Day and tried to get their War chant going - NOPE GET FUCKED FATTIES!

The New Day - Alpha Academy thing was weird to start, and got stupid when Rusev came out and proceeded to destroy Otis and Tazawa. I don't see where he fits on Raw (or WWE really). Was cool to be there for his return.

Liked the backstage Judgement Day segment, it got a good reaction from the crowd too.

Highlight of my life, I mean night, up next with Iyo in the ring and then STEPHANIE VAQUER shows up!!! But wait! THERE'S MORE!!! They want to fight tonight and who are we to argue? That fucking drunk Pierce would have gotten killed of he didn't let them. Fantastic match, even though you knew it wasn't going to have a clean finish. Roxanne came in to ruin everything, like she does... BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE.. in comes Giulia and at this point I'm ok of I die after the show... BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE... now Mami shows up???? Seriously, did I die and go to heaven??? Not sure what I did to deserve that segment, but I hope I can do more of it.

Loved the video for Jey. Crowd was IN to him. Absolutely nuts. We all kept expecting Sami to turn on him, and it'll happen, but you can't have that many turns in one night.

Guy next to me saw JD slide under the ring, but we didn't know who it was at the time. Dom was crazy over, but I LOVE how he keeps being a heel through it all. Penta is also over like rover and really fun to watch. The JD reveal was kinda cool and it's good to see him back.

Seth is over, Paul got a LOUD fuck you chant. Good promo, and it was nice to see Punk just going to town and not bother with any talking. Reigns coming I'm and laying out Paul got a huge pop, but then this happened..

FUCKING BRON BREAKKER!!!

Did not expect that, but in hindsight I should have. Back when he was in NXT, Paul gave him his props.

That ending was perfect.

Great show and I really am blessed to have been a part of it. Damn that was fun.

And because I love you guys (not you @Frank23 )

These reviews have been a highlight of the wrestling weekend, please spend all your money to go to these shows. And if you see that gentleman from Winnipeg again you tell him rorschach said "Your mama motherfucker!"

They did not show this part on Netflix that I saw. They need to rebrand the War Raiders and A-Town Down Under. No one wants to see a guys dressed up in Viking gear consistently in 2025. I'm not saying get rid of them but they need an entirely new gimmick. As far as A-Town Down Under goes why the hell isn't Grayson Waller doing solo stuff? Theory is a good wrestler but a charisma vacuum. Waller would be so good as a weasel type of heel.

Also, I hope Maxxine was a sign of life that the WWE is bringing back managers. Her mic work was decent and with so many talented wrestlers on the roster I don't want them to go nowhere. People keep talking about bringing up the guys to replace Roman, Punk and Seth but we also need people to bring in the next generation of managers like Heyman too.

I just find it funny though that with all that happened last night I almost forget Rusev debuted. As talented as the roster is I think Rusev won't even be on tv 6 months from now. He'll feud with Penta or something like that and Penta will win and he will be buried on the undercard. Should have put Rusev on NXT so he could be fed to Trick or Oba.

I already spent all my money to go to these shows. Need to hit a big jackpot today.

War Raiders came out in there more Sons of Anarchy look - which while a better look, people just don't care about them.

Agree that A-Town DownUnder either need to split OR join up with Seth, Bron, and Heyman. Add Becky and maybe an NXT call up (Trick?) and go full new Dangerous Alliance.
