100% agree with this being their best match, and even better imo than the Steamboat/Savage match. The ending was a bit wonky, but that was an incredible nearly hour-long match. Only thing that bothered me was Funk on commentary.

Yeah, loved Funk's voice when it came to promos, but it didn't work for me as a commentator. And this match doesn't have the fire of the WM3 match with Savage, but it's a great example of psychology and match organization.

The wrestler in the ring is Paul Christy, he was tight with the Poffo/Savage family, he was Randy's best man at his wedding and is the only other man to hold the ICW World Title(Poffo family promotion in Kentucky) other than Randy or Lanny
Randy got him a spot in the WWF, just like he did with Lanny, and Christy even got an interview segment on the Tuesday Night Titans show but he never rose above opening match jobber and didnt last long in New York

The first game is a classic (it also originally started as Resident Evil 4). Second one kinda sucked. Third one was great but really hard.
I don't think the Netflix show is based on the games. The use of Limp Bizkit is perfect IMO since the first game came out in 2001.
