I thought there was something about that with him and bullying and it leading to problems on the show but they haven't talked about that at all. It's actually about a lot of the job squad rangers after the first few seasons and their crazy lives. Who cares about them?!

Seems kind of like a comic series "Big Frisco Shakedown" by J Scott Campbell of Gen13 fame. That was set in the 70s with blaxploitation, Kung Fu, and Dirty Harry type action all blended with occult shit.

Supposedly its based on several true stories that happened in the Bay Area like the Nazi skinhead stomp down at the punk rock, the Sleepy Floyd robbery, the rap concert shooting, etc. that are woven together into a fictional tale of one crazy night in Oakland

I did not wanna see it at all the first time I saw the trailer because it was not what I expected a Too Short movie called Freaky Tales to be about, plus I do not care for that useless fuckin Pedro Pascal, but after learning the subject matter and rewatching the trailer, it looks pretty wild

Plus I heard its chock full of 80's Oakland Easter eggs and references that someone like me would definitely appreciate so now Im piqued about that

Yes, basically a live version of the show. It was mostly just marital arts fight scenes and displays with power rangers costumes on. I don't even think the real actors were there. Just stunt people in the costumes. I do remember being highly upset that the megazord was not there. They just showed it on the screens!

That doc kinda sucked. It really only spent about 5 minutes on the development of the show and rise of the insane popularity before it dove into the white trash lives of these actors that spent season 13 as the red ranger.
