This whole deal with people getting mad about "insider" terms, are the same people that made the "insider" terms common knowledge in the first place. Not talking about just the chronically online fans either, you have wrestlers that fucked it up just as much, if not worse, by needing to have the "I'm a real person too" attention. Nah mf, you're a living fucking character, if you need to be seen as "not my character" so bad, go be a fucking actor. You can't get mad at it now, the genie is out of the bottle, there's no going back. The only logical way to move forward is to make what used to be "insider" part of the gimmick and do it to the point where it all gets blurred again. The internet and social media worked themselves into a shoot, that now needs to be shot back into a work, ya dig?
 
Confession time: In every entertainment medium I mostly prefer the villain/heel. I turned the corner though on Cody the wrestling character tonight. He's been fun to root against on this entire run, but in hindsight he's been a good champion/representative of the business.

I'm a Cody fan, but I feel he is a good babyface. Maybe not great but good. It's hard being a face. I can see why the company put the strap on him.
