Is anyone watching Daredevil Born Again? When the guy imprisoned in Kingpin's basement was yelling "LET ME OUT!!!" all I could think of was when the Ministry of Darkness kidnapped Phineas Godwin and had him locked in the sex dungeon. <lmao>

Monster truck show was wild and fun but it was insanely overcrowded, they announced a complete sellout 3 hours before showtime but it was way oversold, the grandstands were completely stuffed full and there hundreds and hundreds of people standing at ground level between the bleachers and the racetrack to the point where it was unsafe to start the show

Lines for everything were crazy long, my friend waited for like 30-45 minutes in the food line and then gave up

I brought in tall cans just in case and lucky I did cause the beer lines werent too bad to start but they got bad as we got close to show time

Monster truck ride lines were insane but luckily they kept running them all show long so I missed some of the action to go take the kids on the rides during showtime

We got to ride the old timey fire truck and one other but not the Duke Boys minivan, rides were hella fun though

The mens bathrooms basically became gender neutral because the womens lines were so long, hella broads in there while Im draining the lizard at the old school piss troughs LoL

They put on an awesome show, lotsa thrills and high flying action, they also had a dirt bike stunt spectacular and the kiddies Power Wheels race

Two people paid the 650 bucks to do the ride along with Dennis Anderson in King Sling and they auctioned off two more spots, I bought a ticket for 5 bucks but I dont know if I won cause I was at the other monster truck rides when they announced the winners, i probably did, though

Ran in to several different old friends I hadnt seen years, thats always a fun moment that I enjoy

Everyone in our party had fun and the kids had the time of our lives so Im happy with it, wish I coulda saw the whole show, though

When you posted that stunt video the other day the name of the guy, Brian Carson, stuck with me. I hadn't heard it in years and it resonated deep in my memory. I've been on the search for a specific jump of his that I had on a crash tape I had as kid that I watched over and over and over and over.

I can't find the full jump but it's the second one in this highlight through the car tower. My 7 year old brain recognized it immediately. I bet I haven't seen it since 1996. Thanks for the memory jog

Yea, I was reading some of the comments about him in that one crash vid I posted, dammit I love that whole 70's/80's stunt carny scene, I will prolly do some internet rabbit hole deep dives on that business one day soon

I suspect theres a whole lotta insane and hilarious stories to discover about that crowd and the times they lived in

@lakersfan45 I'm heading down to Santa Barbara to tour UCSB next month and I'll be stopping by the Santa Barbara zoo. I'll get to the bottom of this whole it's better than the San Diego zoo thing! Their website says nothing about them having tigers so that's already strike 1, jack!
Tigers are overrated. They have really cute sea otters.

Hope ur son likes ucsb. What schools is he considering

I stared the Evel series on Crime in Sports too. First episode is so far so good. I consider myself fairly knoledagbel about him and there were still a ton of carny stories about him that I hadn't heard. Excellent work. The hosts were behaving too. Not on their high horse at all or laughing at their own jokes. The main guy said at the beginning that it was the most he's ever researched for a show and considers this their most interesting person so I think they're taking it seriously
