I been meaning to ask you a question since you know a bit about the Japanese promotions, I watched this Wrestlespective about the WAR promotion the other day and the narrator said that stands for Wrestle And Romance, does that sound just as stupid in Japanese as it does in American or is something getting lost in the translation here

I didn't even get to reply to the Monster Truck posts! I'm resisting paying for the Netflix so I've been skipping Raw and the discussion. Like I'm going to watch it later...

That MT show better have some merch stands! I love a good 1/64 diecast but I'm more of a t-shirt guy at the big shows. My dad always got me one as a kid so I'm keeping it alive. Bill Payne in rockstar is such a cool truck. He does things his way and is a really good fabricator.

I buy one toy truck every year as my little memento from the show, so far I got Identity Theft cause he is what drew me to the first show, Cali Kid cause we won an ward together at the second show and Spitfire cause I took a nice pic in front of him at the third show

I could easily just buy them all on the internet but theres no fun in that, the thrill is in the chase, as they say...


We'll see who wins this most coveted Pete's Choose Award at this years show, better have your working tires on, boys!

I been watching the original Police Squad tv show, which is the precursor to the Naked Gun movies, on Saturday nights on the old retro tv channels that I love so much, they show Police Squad and Sledge Hammer back to back

@Batjester do you remember that old Sledge Hammer cop show from the 80's, that was such a great show, nothing but bad ass hilarious police violence, basically a sitcom satire version of Lethal Weapon

Might've just sounded dumb in Japanese too. Tenryu changed the meaning of WAR to Wrestle Association R a few years into it's run.
