He works that angle in my promotion and he's gone, Boo!
Moment he starts crying while getting carried I'd have dropped him and told him to crawl his arse off the courts Rick James style.

They just announced the concert lineup for the state fair in Sacramento this Summer and theres some good names on there, Ludacris, Bret Michaels, Tesla, Air Supply, Joe Nichols, Dustin Lynch, but sadly no Kid Rock or Vanilla Ice

Hrmph

My beloved SF Giants are starting the season in Cincinnati and my young nephew is starting at 1st base for the Reds, he got his very first career hit(a homerun) against the hometown Giants here in San Francisco two years ago, I bet he has something special in store for us today!

GO GIANTS!!

Looks like Tesla is back on top again

I’d be curious to know if they are attracting a new audience, shall we say, and seeing an uptick in streams.

Even by hair metal standards, I don’t like them that much but I spent many a nights cruising around Vice City on a chopper to this!

I appreciate hair metal for what it is, fun high energy party rock, but I do not care for that song one bit, is that their signature hit?
No thank you

Their acoustic album was good shit. Listened to that one a lot back in the day.

Hmmmm, Im not familiar with that song either but I do like it a lot better than the other one, I know the band name Tesla but apparently I never actually heard any of their music LoL

Just shows ya what the right gimmick can do for brand recognition, I guess

The best thing about them is easily the cool name. @Batjester can answer better than me but I don't think they were that big at the time and aren't really held in some high regard in the hair metal nostalgia community. They're just kinda there, upper mid carders maybe

You might like this one, it's their other big one. It's a very Sammy Hagar-ish Regan America rock song that I've heard at a monster truck rally or two in my day <lmao>

I've seen them live twice. The 1st time they were opening up for Def Leppard and weren't very good at all. The sound seemed like it was off, but this was also their first real big tour.

2nd time I saw them they were by themselves in a smaller venue in Kansas and they were freaking incredible. This was when they were doing part of the show electric and part acoustic. They have so many great songs.

They do strike me as a great live band. Very high energy

Tesla was one of the first bands in the 80's to do full on acoustic tours, and they kinda set the stage for all the MTV shows they did where bands would come in and play acoustic. They had a really small window when they were near the top, but came in late in the 80's and things were changing to grunge by 92.

One thing that Tesla did, or didn't do, was they weren't using drum machines. They really weren't a true hair metal band because they never did the whole make up and gaudy outfits but didn't fit into the pop category either. To me, they were just a really great rock band.
