@RollSonnenRoll I typed this out as the last thread got closed, replying to your post about Jack Nicholson's charisma.

Jack Nicholson is one of my favorite to ever do it. The Departed is one of my favorite movies of all time and Jack is one of the big reasons why. Hearing the stories of him ad-libbing during filming is crazy. At damn near 70 years old he created one of the most fun charismatically evil characters of all time while ad-libbing a lot of it.

This story from Matt Damon about Jack while filming pops me every time I hear it.

"Now you can end the scene there, but if you leave the cameras rolling" <lmao>

Oh yeah, I love that story. He's a fascinating individual. Pollack always tells stories about him on Eisen. My favorite is how he did the famous speech in Few Good Men word for word, to the letter with the same intensity as if he was on camera when they were doing reaction scenes of him, Tom and Demi. For no other reason than just because he wanted to and felt like it.

We need to get back on the same page this thread

An optimistic update on Cain's sentencing: they gave him credit for 1,283 days served, so he's looking at about a year and a half. The judge had some poignant words during the judgment.
"Judge Arthur Bocanegra became emotionally choked up as he announced the sentence to a packed courtroom in the Santa Clara County Hall of Justice. Punishment comes in many ways, and one of the worst is forcing a father to not be present in his child’s life, Bocanegra said."

"The judge said he took many factors into account when making his sentencing decision. While Velasquez is the offender for the attempt murder case, his family is also the victim in the child molestation case, Bocanegra emphasized."

"The judge said Velasquez has no prior criminal record, he expressed sincere remorse, and he took full responsibility for his crime without giving excuses. “This is a tragic case. Mr. Velasquez is not a danger to public safety,” Bocanegra said."

I didn't even get to reply to the Monster Truck posts! I'm resisting paying for the Netflix so I've been skipping Raw and the discussion. Like I'm going to watch it later...

That MT show better have some merch stands! I love a good 1/64 diecast but I'm more of a t-shirt guy at the big shows. My dad always got me one as a kid so I'm keeping it alive. Bill Payne in rockstar is such a cool truck. He does things his way and is a really good fabricator.

Not sure how many Ye fans here, but he dropped this on YouTube a few days ago, no advertising or promotion, and it's already 4 million views. Been vibing to it and its really good, reminds me of old Kanye. Say what you will about him but the guy can make some pretty dang good music. The madness takes but it gives!

That first track is crazy, slaps hard. "I hate that God didnt make a couple more of me" is a wild bar lmao. Your mileage may very depending how much you like his music or him but even people who hate the guy still mess with his music.
