I tried one of them new Orange Cream Coke Zeros, tasted pretty much exactly how I expected, kinda like a vanilla Coke with very light orange soda hints

Very nice.

I've only been to the Opry once and it was a lot of fun. You can feel the history in the building. You buy your tickets months in advance before you even know who's booked. Our night, Tim McGraw was the headliner. The venue is so small and intimate that we could see Faith in the wings of the stage cheering him on from our seats on the side. He only did a small set, like 30 minutes, but it was fantastic.

Little Jimmy Dickens was emcee for the night and he was hilarious. He just told jokes all night about how he was old and gonna die soon lol. I remember one where he was talking about some lady trying to make plans for him in the future "and I told her, 'lady, I don't even buy green bananas.'

I just looked it up and he lived for another 10 years after that night

@Pittie Petey I just looked it up. I'm 90% sure it was Tim McGraw's Opry debut so that would have been November 30 2002. That makes sense since it was a family trip and that would have been my grandparents 40 year anniversary. We went to Nashville again in 2012 for their 50th but didn't go to the Opry

So Jimmy Dickens actually lived for another 13 years! HE HAD A LOT LEFT IN THE TANK!

For a very limited time, they had blackberry mountain dew. That stuff was Ambrosia. Was constantly sold out everywhere around here. Was part of a WoW promotion.
