Guy was a big influence on a ton of wrestlers.

Rewatching the big Opry 100 celebration this morning, Carrie Underwood frickin killed it doing a tribute to Randy Travis, when she closed with I'm Gonna Love You Forever and walked down so Randy could sing that last Amen there wasnt a dry eye in the house, included ole Pete's, not gonna lie, that made me mist up good

If youre a fan of country music or just beautiful performances, you should fire up Peacock and check it out, its called Opry 100 and the song Im talking about starts around 39 minutes in, great stuff!

The whole show was really good, took me back to those Saturday nights as a kid, watching the Opry and Hee Haw and Red Skelton at my dear ole Granny & Granpa's house

OK I take it back, I did see a little bit of LAX in TNA but that was right around the time I tuned out from wrestling as a whole for a looooong time. I'll have to check out those links, much appreciated!

Homicide was one of the first ROH world champions. Loved ROH that first year they were in business with Homicide vs Danielson Styles, Punk, Christopher Daniel's, Samoa Joe etc. Great pure wrestling young HOF'ers of today learning their trade in high school gyms, and local community centers.
