Adult Swim was a major go to network for me, the 00s to about 2014 were peak.

If it was like the attitude era of animation the Boondocks and Black Dynamite was the WM 17 for me.

It’s still going but Rick and Morty, Harley Quinn, Kiteman are the only things keeping it afloat.

@RollSonnenRoll I just noticed that Monster Jam in two weeks is gonna be inside the arena instead of at the Coliseum, I guess even buildings that dont even have any teams anymore dont want that outfit coming through and wrecking their grass

Going back and checking out some old Adult Swim shows I haven't seen in years. That show China, IL used to have me cracking up.

Hulk Hogan being the voice of the college dean was great random ass casting too.

I just checked and the Oakland Roots arent running the building til their big home opener the next weekend, I dont know how long it takes to get the field for soccer but I guess its probably a money thing, last time I saw Monster Jam at the Coliseum they drew less than half a house at best and the show was boring as shit, they didnt even do any pyro or anything

Cheaper to set up inside the small arena with less surface area to fill and 15,000 tickets is a full house with a better atmosphere

Plus, I think last year it rained bad on Monster Jam weekend and killed the ticket sales, it stormed so much last year that maybe they were a bit wary this year

I guess theres reasons to run an arena but you aint never finna catch ole Pete's butt in a seat

Oh dang, Dwayne Wiggins from Tony! Toni! Tone! is in hospice with stage 4 cancer, that sucks, one of the best R&B groups of all time and an amazing representative of the Oakland music scene
