I just looked over the rundown, lotta good stuff in there

Reading about Strike Force winning the WWF tag straps reminded me that I once met them at a festival out here in my town, they were working the Cow Palace that night so they were doing a meet & greet out here at the Rivertown Jamboree that afternoon, I had completely forgot all about that

I remember the line to meet them was pretty long, I told them I was gonna go watch them that night and they didnt even pop like I expected them to, bastards
 
@My Spot just watched the press conference for the first Crockett Cup on the stream, Bill Watts damn near did everything he could to bury the afternoon session, basically making it seem like it didnt even matter so fans should only buy tickets for the nighttime finals session

Nothing like talking em into the building, huh ole Billy, no wonder he went outta business a year later

Weird that Texas, Florida and Pennsylvania get multiple cities but Cali only gets one in San Diego

Looks like they’re doing the phone free gimmick where you put it in the pouch so you won’t be able to see the arena setup or my seats!

Band presale starts in the morning, I’ll be monitoring the situation
 
Has anybody been to one of those phone-free shows? I understand it for a comedy club with a few hundred people or even a small theatre but an arena with potentially 20,000 people seems like it would take forever to get into the show and then for them to unlock it as you leave

Well, I hope you learned from your WWE debacle and allow for extra time in line and adjust your departure time correctly!

The gear these guys were on plus the drugs and booze was crazy. There's also levels to gear. A little test is a lot different than tren. I bet the highs were pretty fun, though. I don't think everyone is meant to live long lives.

I went to Louis CK at a theater back in 2020, a couple weeks before covid lockdown that did that phone in the locked bag gimmick, there were probably 2000-3000 people and it didn't really add any noticeable time, it was like a 1 second thing to unlock the bags. It was just part of the process as you walked in, it wasn't a separate station or anything, then as you walked out it was a quick little one second click on the bag.
