@Pliny Pete just realized I haven't watched Why Files in months, didn't really think about it either because it never shows up in my recommended. Just now I was looking for something to watch on Youtube while I ate and realized Why Files hasn't even been put on my Youtube algorithm in months. No new episodes popping up in my feed or anything.

They out here trying to shadow ban AJ and Hecklefish?

It still pops up in my algorithm but I don't watch anymore, that show fell off hard and fast once AJ became obsessed with stupid fucking AI generated imagery

It used to be an interesting tale with Hecklefish making sarcastic remarks, now it's these long ass boring drama narratives, "You're a fisherman on the 3rd Sunday of the New Moon and suddenly you notice a shadow on your shoulder..."

Plus, it just drops randomly whenever now, used to be a weekly schedule that you could set your watch to, every Thursday 6 pm, now you wake up Saturday morning and see a new episode popped up at 3 am and then don't get the next one for weeks!

And they don't do the After Files anymore, used to be a fun community discussion that ole Pete enjoyed very much and looked forward to and now that's gone

I gotta lotta gripes about that show!

I am curious as to what the heck they're doing now though, they built that huge new studio with plans to make all these Why Files-ish spinoff shows and they have done none of that and scaled way back on Why Files too

They even had people from their Discord community move to Vegas to work on the new shows as employees, are those people getting paid, how are they generating money if they aren't putting out content?

I wish Discord didn't suck so much or I would go on there and try to investigate what the heck is going on

Unfortunately, I'm booked. The boys need me now more than ever but I knew when the schedule was released that I'd be out this weekend so just bad timing. Sold my tickets to a friend who will support for me and plan on being back for Missouri in a couple weeks.

Worst birthday weekend ever

Just put some walnuts out in the front yard for this new batch of squirrels and immediately one of them ran over and snatched one as soon as I walked back in the house but instead of running off to bury it, he ran right over to my big front window and sat there right there in the driveway munching down on it right where I could see him
I think he knew I needed a pick me up and it worked wonderfully, most adorable thing I ever saw in my life!
Now that he's had his breakfast, he's scurrying back and forth grabbing walnuts to run off and bury them as Roxie follows him from window to window watching intently
Animals is the dopest
