You should check out Romulus if you get a chance. It felt like watching Alien again when I was 7. It's not perfect but they got a hell of a lot of things right. The lead actress did a great job. I'm glad I shelled out the extra $50 for Imax. It felt like a big nasty xenomorph was in the theater with me, Roll!

Excellent. There is a massive IMax in Chattanooga that is going to be my go-to now. My sister said she had seen Alien but not Aliens. I tried to sell her on all the feminism and motherhood themes so I think I hooked her to see it before we go see Romulus

They did a great job portraying a strong female lead without making it over the top and hokey. She aint no Sigourney(who is?) but she was a great babyface. This takes place between Alien and Aliens so there are a ton of Easter eggs and references to the first two movies that were popping the house, but it made sense because of when the movie takes place, it wasnt just cheap nostalgia pops outside of one or two. I'm glad I went on opening day, too. I usually avoid the crowds but it was really fun last night. You could tell majority of the crowd were Alien marks and we all were popping at the same stuff. The franchise is back! There were some dark times, looking at you Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection! As soon as the movie starts you are going to feel that familiar Alien vibe. It's good shit, pal.

Man, I gotta see in a packed theatre. I was hoping that’d be the case. I really wanted to go on Sunday but it’s Grandpa Roll’s birthday. The big 85!
 
I think the women should just be allowed to wrestle in thong backed tights from now on, they would all gain more exposure
